Run it up! Port Harcourt is a curated music playlist from our end, at Cedo Mgbomo. One that features fine and quality music from the city of Port Harcourt. This playlist aims to showcase the rich and beautiful art from the city’s very own.
The playlist comes in three categories, which are:
- Monthly Releases,
- City Choice and
- Top Songs
The Monthly Releases playlist contains songs that are released every specific month. This playlist is uploaded on the 28th day of each month. Please, send your music submissions and recommendations to this link
The City Choice playlist category (previously known as Top Songs), which drops weekly on Wednesdays, features songs fans love and are blazing in the city. To feature on this playlist, have a minimum of five fans mention the song here and join our Channel The playlist has an analytics tool that determines which songs meet the criteria for being featured.
The Top Songs concept is being rebranded into an Editorial style to be relaunched in August 2024; it is the playlist by the Run it Up! PH Artist and Repertoire (A&R) team to showcase our top recommended songs and especially, “the songs you didn’t know were hot”
Please Note: The base criteria to feature on any of the playlists is for the songs to have less profanity, good production and must be available on digital streaming platforms, e.g the likes of Audiomack, Boomplay, Spotify and so on.
