ENGRAVED: DIARY OF THE AVERAGE MALE
Engraved highlights the challenges of the typical average Nigerian boy child living and thriving in a dysfunctional society, all in a bid to shine a light on his battles, stories, thoughts, and most especially his dreams, which he must constantly fight to see through or take with him to his grave.
With the high influx of organisations that cater to the girl child, we often fail to understand that a vast majority of the deeply rooted problems that shake the core of our humanity arise from the neglect and miseducation of the boy child.
With this, it is essential that a discourse is being opened up that allows the sharing of ideas, challenges, perspectives, and philosophies for societal development with the male child at the centre, using the visual arts to push the narrative.
